New Grant Budget Template - May 1, 2010

• A new grant budget template has been added to Forms section and Requirements section of the site. Use of this template is now mandatory for requests for support of programs totaling $100,000 and under. We will no longer be accepting submissions using personal budget templates.

New Accredited Provider Eligibility Survey

• A new Accredited Provider Eligibility Survey is required to be completed by both the accredited provider and educational partner for each submission.

Two new policy changes have been added under the Eligibility section

• Tibotec Therapeutics reserves the right to restrict financial support of independent professional education to activities certified by academic medical centers, hospitals, medical societies, professional medical associations or governmental agencies. Accredited providers may choose to collaborate with an educational partner for submission of grant applications.
• Faculty names for certified professional activities are not required to be included in the submission of a grant application.

New needs assessment criteria for all educational grant submissions now required

• A comprehensive Needs Assessment is required for all educational grant requests. A Needs Assessment is the identification and documentation of a knowledge, practice and/or performance gap for the specific learners to be targeted by the educational activity. See the Grant Application Supplement for further details.
